1. I’ve always tried to live by my motto in life — "If you're not having fun, then why are you here?"
2. Before massage therapy, I considered a career as a Veterinarian or as a lead singer in a band.  In fact, I am now currently the lead singer in the band, The Electric Lola!
3. My real birth name is “Elizabeth” but I would absolutely prefer to be called “Liz”.
4. I was born in St. Louis, MO and lived there until I was 8. I then moved to Louisville, CO in 1993.
5. I always feel invigorated when I color my hair, get a new tattoo or make someone else happy!
6. I have experimented with the full spectrum of colors (black, blonde and red) in my hair.
7. I have a fear of fake, stuffed animals — the ones in most Natural History Museums.
8. One of my unique and hysterical talents is that I can cross one eye at a time — on command.
9. My favorite book is ‘The Mastery of Love’ by Don Miguel Ruiz, and everyone must read it!
10. I am passionate about sand volleyball and am now playing at a very competitive level. I consider myself semi-pro!
11. What makes me the happiest of all is being in the sunlight, and receiving affection from my loved ones and animals.
12. I am a fanatic when it comes to eating right, health and fitness. I've practiced the art of yoga for more than 14 years.
13. I started designing and passionately hand-making mosaic art pieces a few years ago. I created beautiful projects such  as picture frames, stools and boxes. However, I found out that I was allergic to grout. Ultimately, I had to stop. Now, I  craft my own beaded, wrap bracelets for friends and family.
14. I would not be able to live without homemade buttermilk biscuits, animals, volleyball, affection, hot baths, exercise,  yoga, close friends, water (duh), traveling to new places, and helping others one-on-one on a daily basis.
15. A few of my favorite movies are ‘Inception’, ‘Bridesmaids’, ‘The Notebook’, ‘Amelie’ and ‘Gladiator’.
