Liz was born in St. Louis, MO where she lived until the age of eight. She then re-located to Louisville, Colorado where she has been living the healthy-minded, outdoor lifestyle ever since. Liz is active in a wide range of athletics and outdoor activities. Specifically, she has been dedicated to the sport of volleyball since the fifth grade, and is now training on a full-time basis in women’s sand doubles for local tournaments and leagues.
She has slowly but surely integrated her love for athleticism and movement into a sports and orthopedic style of body work. While attending the Boulder College of Massage Therapy (BCMT), Liz interned at The University of Colorado, Boulder where she worked directly with the college athletes program and their student trainers. She helped to design specific sessions to treat injury recovery, increase range of motion in joints, and optimize athletic performance in young athletes. Liz has recently started an internship at the Acorn Preschool in Boulder, CO where they provide safe and comforting “touch” therapy to a class of 15 students and teachers.
